Rustic Elegance: A Sage Green & Dusty Pink Wedding at Aston Marina

Welcome to another magical wedding journey! Today, I’m thrilled to share the beautiful celebration of Natalia and Josh at the picturesque Boat House at Aston Marina. With its breathtaking waterside views and charming rustic setting, it was the perfect venue to bring their vision of a wild, rustic wedding to life. Let’s dive into the heart of their stunning day filled with sage greens, dusty pinks, and sentimental touches.

For Natalia and Josh’s wedding, I worked closely with them to create floral designs that matched their vision of a rustic, light, and airy day, with soft accents of sage green, ivory, and dusty pinks. Their wedding was all about elegance with a touch of wild, so we incorporated flowing greenery, distressed wood elements, and delicate blooms that carried a romantic yet relaxed vibe.

Meeting Natalia & Josh: A Vision for Rustic Romance

From our first chat, it was clear that Natalia and Josh wanted a day that blended elegance with the natural beauty of the outdoors. With the stunning Boat House at Aston Marina as their venue, we focused on creating a design that felt both wild and refined, using soft tones of sage green and dusty pink to complement the rustic setting.

A Bouquet With Sentiment

Natalia’s bouquet was a standout, with a wild, oversized design featuring a special flower unique to the bridal and groom’s arrangements. This created a personal connection between them on the day. We also added a beautiful charm with Natalia’s late nan’s picture, adding an emotional, heartfelt touch to the florals.

Rustic Meets Refined

For the venue styling, we leaned into the couple’s love for natural, rustic elements. From distressed wood and moss to flowing greenery and delicate flowers, every detail was designed to reflect the couple’s relaxed, romantic vision. The asymmetric moongate and gazebo florals provided stunning backdrops for their ceremony and photos.

A Grateful Review From The Happy Couple

Natalia and Josh were kind enough to share some beautiful words about their wedding florals, which I’m honored to have been part of. Here’s what they had to say:

What an incredible person Leanne is, words simply won’t do justice. Leanne, you have been supportive, kind, encouraging, reassuring, and wonderful since our first phone call. You have helped us massively to navigate the creative side of things when Josh and I told you that imagining details and florals doesn’t come easily to us. You have been so incredibly helpful and thorough, but also extremely thoughtful, always striving to ensure that we get most value for our money. You have been a joy to communicate with and work with. The floral arrangements that you made for us for our wedding day were breathtaking. Despite us not being overly descriptive with our „vision”, you read between the lines and went with the vibe and the feel that we wanted to see on the day… and you have delivered something that goes beyond my wildest dreams. I am so in love looking at all the pictures, seeing how beautiful the flowers were. The biggest bonus is that I get to keep my bridal bouquet and cherish it forever. The flower quality is so amazing that you can’t tell they are artificial straight away. Simply stunning. I wanted to wait with this review until we get our professional photos back but I simply cannot wait to tell you how much we appreciate everything you have done for us. I will share more photos with you once we get them of course. But in the meantime, THANK YOU. (I also appreciated you coming in to give me a hug and all your kind words in the morning - you are such a pure, all around genuine person) So, I would recommend The Quirky Wedding Florist to everyone - fantastic in every way, so much talent and genuine passion for her craft, you will not be disappointed!.”
